Christchurch also has easy access to the sea and beaches,
the Port Hills with wonderful views and Banks Peninsula.

The TranzAlpine Train runs daily from Christchurch to Greymouth and
is one of the world’s great scenic railway journeys
The International Antarctic Centre at Christchurch airport provides
an interactive and exciting experience of Antarctica.
