• Lake Matheson Walk - 6 km west of Fox village. A 90 minute return walk around Lake Matheson, with reflective views.
• Peak View Point - Starts 10 km from Fox village. One of the best viewpoints of Fox Glacier and Southern Alps
• Seal Colony Walk - At Gillespies Beach, a 21 km drive from Fox village. 3 hour 30 minute walk to the Seal Colony
• Copland Track  Welcome Flat - 6-8 hour tramp each way to Welcome Flat Hot pools.
