Lumsden Railway Station Information Centre

Lumsden is the major town servicing Northern Southland and is a central point
for travelers wishing to explore the nearby area. 
Queenstown lies to the North, Invercargill to the South, Gore to the East and Te Anau and Milford Sound to the East.
 
A real hub and crossroads, Lumsden boasts two hotels, the popular Mayfly Café and Bar, a Grocer, Butcher,
Garden Centre, Dairy, Petrol Station, Gift and Craft Shops, Motels, Farmstays and Camping Ground. 

The Railway Station acts as the local Information Centre and is well worth a visit.
