Moeraki Village and BeachMoeraki Boulders

Moeraki Jetty

Moeraki is a small picturesque fishing village just south of the Moeraki boulders and a popular holiday place.
Moeraki has a great playground and picnic area with easy access to the beach.
The harbour is scattered with boats and fishing is a favourite pastime.
At Moeraki you will find the world famous ‘Fleurs Place’,
a waterfront restaurant specializing in serving fresh local caught fish and organic vegetables and also
the Moeraki Tavern, a good place for families to enjoy a meal.
Walk from the village to the Moeraki lighthouse at Katiki Point, an easy walk that can take anywhere
from 20 minutes up to an hour. Here you can also see Yellow-eyed Penguins and Blue Penguins,
seals and sea birds and sometimes the Hector Dolphins in the harbour.
Visit the famous Moeraki Boulders on Koekohe Beach within walking distance from Moeraki
